the Star Projector band aligned in a hurricane: when Tessa Smith and Eric Jaques met at a music festival that was canceled a day after they arrived on the muddy grounds.

they've been inseparable ever since, with Tessa writing lyrics and Eric creating guitar riffs, both experimenting with the sounds on an old thrifted keyboard that defines their sound. they live, eat, sleep and record at home in Saint Paul, MN.
